Easter Seals Arkansas provides an array of programs and services across the state to meet the varying needs of children with disabilities and their families. The need for specialized care for children with disabilities in Arkansas is tremendous. We believe that with early identification and intervention and with the proper resources, these children will have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
We provide the following range of services for children with disabilities and their families:
Infant Monitoring - Consultation and developmental assessments for at-risk infants.
Outpatient Therapy - Provides speech, physical and occupational therapies as well as evaluations and consultations.
Children's Rehabilitation Center - Forty-bed intensive rehabilitation center children ages three through 18 with severe disabilities.
A Child's Place Preschool - Provides developmental instruction for children with and without disabilities.
Statewide Outreach Program - Provides evaluations and technical assistance to school-age children with disabilities in school districts across the state.
Home and Community Services/Medicaid Waiver - This service provides individualized care in the community for children with disabilities as well as respite support for families.
The Assistive Technology Resource - Provides evaluations and training for children with disabilities in the use of augmentative/alternative communication devices or other assistive technology.
Grand Prairie Child Development Center - Provides developmental instruction for children with and without disabilities as well as speech, physical and occupational therapies. |
