Art and Soul will be Friday, November 6th at 6 p.m. at M2 Gallery in the Pleasant Ridge Town Center.  The signature piece is created by 2 year old John Hardin Bale, IV.  Buy your tickets today!  

Rollin' on the River

Rollin' on the River 2009 is among the most successful races to date with almost 1000 people in attendance.  Thank you to all who came out to participate or volunteer.  Awards were given to the following:

Most Spirited Team:  The Butler Extreme Dream Team
Strength in Numbers: Ramsey's Racers
Highest Team Fundraiser: John Hardin's Marching Monsters
Highest Individual Fundraiser: Riley McClanahan

On April 24, 2009 Easter Seals held its 2nd annual Fashion Show at the Pleasant Ridge Town Center.  It was a fabulous evening.  Nearly 80 models walked the catwalk dressed in the latest spring fashions from stores in the Pleasant Ridge Town Center.  Eight of the models were Easter Seals representatives.  They loved participating and the crowd loved them.  Special guest Korto Momolu of Project Runway was there signing autographs and posing for photos.  After the fashion show the people rocked out to the music of Tragikly White.  Be sure to make plans to join us next year.

Arkansan of the Year 2009  Easter Seals honored Dallas Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones, as the Arkansan of the Year, Thursday, March 12, 2009 at the Statehouse Convention Center.  The event attracted a crowd of nearly 1,000 people and raised a record of $548,200.  A VIP reception was hosted in the River View room at the Peabody Little Rock hotel before the main event.  Dallas Cowboys players Tony Romo, Jason Witten, Felix Jones and six Cowboys cheerleaders signed autographs and posed for photographs while the Jones family visited with friends.  The dinner and auction took place in the Wally Allen Ballroom.  A video highlighted Jones' reign with the Cowboys and the building of the new stadium.
